Awesome Lake Norman Wakeboarding Contest on September 20-21st!

Wakeboarder in mid air~

When one dreams of buying a home on Lake Norman, most probably envision the beautiful lake surrounded by homes and estates nestled among tall trees, perhaps sitting on your deck with a sweet tea or cool beer watching the boats go by.

Many of my home buyers thinking about relocating to Lake Norman have more specific goals related to serious recreational sports, from water skiing (we have slalom courses), to kiteboarding to wakeboarding to competitive jet skiing.

At the longtime annual Wake the Lake coming up on September 20th – 21st expect to see an awesome display of both amateur and pro wakeboarders right here on Lake Norman! Hosted by our Lake Norman favorite hangout Vinnie’s Raw Bar and sponsored by Mastercraft of Charlotte and IcyWaves Surf Shop, they are promising that is will be the “biggest and best” ever!

Carolina Wake Series , according to their website, was “founded on the idea of “by riders for riders”. Their events like Wake at the Lake offer great competition and prizes which is why it attracts the top riders.

For more information go to the Carolina Wake Series website.

Here is a fun example of what you can expect to see!
