| Comment: Hi, Many of us down Brawley School Road are wondering why all work came to a halt just before Christmas and has not resumed. I would love to be able to provide an update to my blog readers! Thanks so much, Diane |

| Comment: Mrs. Aurit, All upcoming work has to be performed in warmer temperatures, i.e. paving, chemical stabilization, concrete curb & gutter, etc. This is typical for this time of year and this type of work. Once temps are consistently warmer, work will pick up drastically. Our completion date is still July, 2011 and we expect our contractor to meet this deadline. If you have further questions, feel free to call me at 704-876-3543
Thanks, |

Diane,
Thank you for the update.
As the weather warms, it would be great if the engineers provided more frequent progress reports. Bi-weekly or monthly updates on all aspects of the project would be appreciated. For example the engineers could cover utilities, lane shifts, road blocks, new phases of construction, etc. I believe the recent Catawba project had a web site that provided a weekly summary. If Statesville Constructions emailed an update to your blog as well as the local papers, they could make good friends with Brawley School residents!
I agree Alex! I will what I can do and I encourage others to contact John Cook as I think there is power in numbers!
