The Fresh Market: Life just keeps getting better in Lake Norman!

If you have been reading my articles about life and real estate in Lake Norman you already know how I feel about Trader Joe’s and what a wonderful day it was when they opened their new store off Exit 18. Well, when I heard that The Fresh Market was coming to our Lake Norman area in late 2008 I was intrigued but didn’t realize how exciting this will be until I visited their website.

The first thing that became clear is that this is not just another market. ” We invite you to join in the celebration and experience the foods that make The Fresh Market unique. ” I like unique!

Their website not only shares about their many departments, store locations and online marketing, but it offers an entire section entitled “Inspirations”. The one today is “10 Items Worth Waking Up To” which includes Bruce’s sweet potato pancake mix, Omega-3 eggs with Nueskes Bacon, organic milk, home made granola, Hodgson Mill wild blueberry muffin mix, fresh squeezed orange juice and Barbara’s Bakery whole grain cereals.

I can honestly feel the warmth and “old world European market atomosphere” and can’t wait to peruse their “array of departements” from their old-style butcher shop and fish market to their bakery and fresh produce and floral stands.

The Fresh Market will be located at 20623 Torrence Chapel Road in Cornelius and is expected to open later this year. In the meantime I plan to visit one of their two locations in Charlotte soon!

Life in Lake Norman just keeps getting better!
