The Lake Norman’s Folk Art Festival is this Saturday!
One of my first exciting discoveries after moving to Mooresville was the wonderful array of art available, particularly from the Southeastern United States. Southern Folk Art can be colorful, whimsical, dramatic and fun and can also be highly collectable. If you haven’t had an opportunity to view the wonderful varity of Southeastern Folk Art and meet some the our talented artists from all over the Southeast, then tomorrow is a perfect opportunity for you since Lake Norman is hosting the first annual Folk Art Festival at the Lake from 11-4pm. As their flyer says:
Paintings, sculpture, pottery and metal works plus Food, Bluegrass music and demonstrations by the artists!
