Davidson Farmer’s Market has evolved from a dozen or so booths behind Summit Coffee on Main Street in 2008 to an amazing array of vendors from vegetable & fruit farmers, to eggs, poultry, meats, seafood, baked and prepared foods, cheese makers, flowers, a scuppernog winemaker and even two food trucks!
Lake Norman can now boast having a hip, fresh, healthy, mostly sustainable/organic, producer-only farmer’s market that features over 35 farmers and local producers from within a 100 mile radius of Davidson.
This Saturday’s opening day includes cooking demonstrations, music by popular local Americana/Bluegrass singer Rusty Knox, and newly added food trucks (Root Down and Hoomgrown Crepe will rotate every other week).
The Davidson Farmer’s Market is now every Saturday from 8am – Noon and is located next to Town Hall between Main & Jackson Streets.
